krunner properities
I found topic in redit - https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/d16ntc/how_to_increase_the_width_of_krunner/ but advice to use Windows Rules seems doesn't work. I attach screenshot showing my settings for krunner window. As I mentioned not always is visible right side description for found entry. Additionally, as mentioned user in kredit, would be nice if after mouse is over entry then content could be scrolled to see all. Operating System: Antergos Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.16.0-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Graphics Processor: Mesa IntelĀ® HD Graphics 530 Created attachment 149367 [details] How KRunner appears when enlarged I tried the solution posted on https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/638797 to no avail. It would be much appreciated if there was a way to override the font size in the UI. I've already overridden the width with a window rule that forces the "Minimum Size" property. It shows more text for each result, but the search box doesn't fill the extra space. A possibly relevant merge request was started @ https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/-/merge_requests/1057 Wanna set this back to confirmed since the relevant merge request was dropped some time ago. Would really love to see this. Particularly with file indexing, search results would be so much more informative if they would not be cut to something like 35 chars. File names and phrases in indexed documents are often be much longer. |
