What I get is the following: 1. Draw with stylus, mouse moves. 2. Move mouse/touchpad, nothing happens. 3. Move mouse/touchpad again, mouse moves. 4. Move stylus: everything draws again. So technically, I cannot reproduce this :( @Wolthera: good, it means it's probably local to my install/setup.
> I'll see when it happened, it's very recent.
Erratum: it's not recent. I tested my previous appimages, and I could reproduce it. I probably haven't used my mouse with Krita for a long time and hardly noticed it. I'll digg in my older appimage because it feels weird I haven't noticed this before. I turn the report into "wait for info".
And it affects all my appimages since many betas, only my Wacom stylus, not my XP-Pen on Digimend. It sounds like a kernel update on my side (I made a dist-upgrade after episode 36) recompiled the Digimend module and I have a mess in the Xorg devices. I put this tickets into "resolved" → "not a bug" for now. Created attachment 144736 [details]

Good evening, I spent last hours changing X11 conf, testing liveISO of new distro, trying many appimage without success, thinking my brave Intuos4XL was reaching end of life because I could even reproduce in Mypaint, Gimp, etc ... and then... I finally I found a rather humoristic solution. 😅 That's why I'm sharing it here:
I had an extra secondary stylus over my active area all that time and it was the reason of the brush outliner freezing. If you wonder how it is possible to not notice another stylus, I put a photo in attachement. After I removed the stylus, everything started working fine.
What a day. 😓
