You'll have to be a bit more specific than "Weird glitches occur" and "breaks a lot of things". :) Which weird glitches? Which things? if you upgrade to Plasma 5.24, does it still happen?

I change it through the Plasma Style settings page in System Settings. I haven't upgraded to 5.24 yet (recently shifted to Kubuntu), so I cannot tell, sorry. OK, let us know once you do.
