SUMMARY

Program window maximization function and window adjustment monitor resolution is not working in Kdenlive 21.12.0

updated on 12/20/2021.

Kdenlive running KDE NEON USER EDITION updated 12/19/2021.

Kdenlive running on UBUNTU / GNOME 21.04
updated on 12/18/2021.

Kdenlive running on UBUNTU / GNOME 21.10
updated on 12/18/2021.

Kdenlive running on MINT / XFCE 20.2 and 20.3 BETA
updated on 12/15/2021 and 12/16/2021 respectively.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The installation of KDENLIVE 21.12.0 was done from the official PPA repository of the KDENLIVE website (add-apt-repository ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-stable) and the BUG occurs in all distributions mentioned above which are based on DEBIAN / UBUNTU.

Tests were run on 2 different computers.

Core 2 Quad Q9550 / 8GB RAM / Nvidia GTX1050Ti

Dell XPS L502X
i7 2gen / 8GB RAM / Nvidia 540.

Please, fix the bug quickly because I love and I need Kdenlive.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem on newer version of kdenlive (21+) I'm using Linux Mint. So far I've tried ppa, appimages, flatpak and still the same problem(no maximize option) prevails.

I hope kde team fix this issue fast. Till then we have to use older version of kdenlive:(

Btw is your resolution 1366*768?

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 21.21.0 to see if there are any packaging issues in our PPA: https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/21.12/linux/ .
