Attachments: a plasma notification generated by Kalendar

Description Jan B. 2021-12-19 22:41:15 UTC
Created attachment 144691 [details]
a plasma notification generated by Kalendar

SUMMARY
Sometimes you include additional information like the meeting link in the Event.
The reminder notification has very few information about where the my meeting is.
And launching the Kalendar GUI takes extra steps.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create an Event
2. enter a Location and set a Reminder
3. Wait for Notification

OBSERVED RESULT
Notification with only the time and event name.

EXPECTED RESULT
Either a clickable URL (meeting invite link - location entry) or a button to open this event in Kalendar

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro KDE 21.2.0
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Design Ideas:
- a setting option to configure what to include in the notification (can get big and ugly)
- Event end or length and location (clickable URL?)
- additional "open event" button

With Kalendar 0.4.0 there is now a "Open URL" button in the notification. This is enough for my needs.
