STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a fresh panel.
2. Put the application launcher on it.
3. Remove the default panel(which has a margin on front+back elements).
4. Super key doesn't activate the application launcher.
5. Setting the application launcher shortcut key isn't possible.

OBSERVED RESULT
It is not possible to activate the application launcher with a super key, or set it as a launcher;

EXPECTED RESULT
It is possible to activate the application launcher with a super key, or set it as a launcher;

yes, Super is ... special, for reasons I don't exactly know.

To make the application launcher open on Super assign the shortcut Alt+F1 to it. Yes, it's weird.
