Krita 5 beta 5

If Krita is closed with dockers still in the centre of the canvas area, these dockers will be in front of the "new File" panel when Krita is reopened and they cannot be moved out of the way.

Hi,

I couldn't reproduce this bug on Krita 5 beta 5 appimage on Linux Kubuntu.

- I put a Palette docker in the middle of my screen
- I closed Krita
- I reopened Krita
→ I could press "New file" and the dialog was above the Palette.
→ I could still move the Palette docker without any document opened.

So, it sounds like a windows manager issue. Please inform on what system (with version) you can reproduce this bug, and if it requires a special docker.

Same on Windows 10 with Qt 5.12 (from our 3rdparty deps) and Manjaro with Qt 5.15 (from distro).

Yes, I can reproduce this on macOS. Looks like Monterey has new dialogs conventions and they are an absolute disaster. If the dialog is modal, the rest of the application can't be reached, and the dialogs no longer can be moved because there's no titlebar anymore. But that's not something we can fix, so, please just press escape, move the docker back and then open the new file dialog again.

I really wish Apple would, like, improve their window manager, instead of making it worse with every release of their OS.

I believe this is part of this bug: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-31503
