It'd be great if the system tray had an icon and a quick toggle to control camera access. 
When an application is using your webcam a camera icon would appear like it does for the microphone now.

Yes, a good idea. We already have one for the microphone so one for the camera too is logical and sensible.

Camera indicator is now shown in plasma 6 however with no toggle access
