So you want the thumbnails panel to have a grid view, rather than a flat list view? Can you comment on what the advantage of this would be? Other than what I mentioned regarding intuitiveness and responsiveness, it generally makes scrubbing through libraries of large documents much more efficient. Just thought I'd throw it out as a suggestion. Hmm, intuitiveness doesn't seem relevant here and responsiveness is typically a factor of performance and animation easing curves, which also aren't factors here. When you say "efficient", do you mean that the scroll speed is effectively faster because each scroll "tick" moves down by three pages rather than one? Yes, sorry, I guess what it boils down to it being handy to be able to preview 10-40 pages at once (depending on monitor size and resolution) I generally keep a 2x5 grid open on the sidebar when using djview. And just never find myself using the sidebar in Okular. Thanks for the info. |

While Acrobat has a multi-page thumbnail view, djview still utilizes far better screen real estate, and the context menu for choosing the thumbnail size [tiny, small, medium, large] is more intuitive and responsive than Acrobat. Okular only has a short-end single page scroll. Taking inspiration from djview would really improve Okular's sidebar capabilities. ***
