SUMMARY

There's a very rare behavior that is happening for what I suppose is 2 months. At first I thought I was just miss clicking on Kickoff, but yesterday I've seen the same happening with the physical button on my machine

When telling the system to shutdown(either with kickoff or the physical button), it will instead just log off the current session and take me back to SDDM.

I'm sorry but I'm unable to find what is triggering it, it look like it has no rhyme or reason, sometimes it takes a week to see it happening again, which is why it took me a while to realise it wasn't user error or something wrong with kickoff.

I have the same problem. In my case it fails most of the time.

Is the problem still happening? I don't think I've seen it happen again on my end since the first half of January.

Maybe it was a bug on 5.23.4? Idk

Perhaps it was. I can't reproduce it on a newer version, FWIW. Let's call it fixed for now, and you can always re-open it later if it still happens after you upgrade to Plasma 5.24.
