Hi Chris. 

I'm sorry to hear that Krita crashed and that you to lost progress, but this bug report doesn't convey any useful information.
In order for us to fix bugs and prevent future data loss, we need real details about the crash, otherwise it's a waste of both of our time.

(Also, it's generally not suggested to do any serious work in a beta version, because to some degree bugs and crashes are expected during this phase of development.)

I'm closing this report for now, but if you take a look at the page that you linked and come back with more actionable information, we can hopefully fix whatever crash you ran into.
