I can confirm, the offset sliders in the brush editor keep changing as you paint on the canvas, and that triggers regeneration of the preview. Created attachment 172720 [details]

This bug still exists, but I have discovered some new situations: it only appears in this way on some textures. For the texture that comes with krita, it will not appear.
For me, it appears on the textures shared by Deevad, which are characterized by their large size and JPG file format. I uploaded one of the textures for testing.
Therefore, the current triggering conditions are: 1. Using specific textures; 2. Open the "Random offset" of the texture; 3.keep the brush page open
