*** Bug 451372 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I'm having the same problem: I attached the meta key to the overview with this command: $ kwriteconfig5 --file ~/.config/kwinrc --group ModifierOnlyShortcuts --key Meta "org.kde.kglobalaccel,/component/kwin,org.kde.kglobalaccel.Component,invokeShortcut,Overview" $ qdbus org.kde.KWin /KWin reconfigure However, the first letter gets repeated only the first time I use the overview search field after booting. The following searches work just fine. What Plasma version are you using? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3) > What Plasma version are you using? Hey, here's all my info: Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5 Kernel Version: 5.15.49-1-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-3840QM CPU @ 2.80GHz Memory: 15,3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 4000 Ok. We fixed a lot of focus-related things in recently. Can you try again with Plasma 5.25.2 (which was just released today)? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #5) > Ok. We fixed a lot of focus-related things in recently. Can you try again > with Plasma 5.25.2 (which was just released today)? I'll wait for Manjaro to push 5.25 (.3 I guess), I don't have time and energy right now to fire up 25.2 ;) Thank you for the answer Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
