Description 322997am 2021-12-02 00:16:01 UTC
Application: plasmashell (5.23.3)

Qt Version: 5.15.2
Frameworks Version: 5.88.0
Operating System: Linux 5.15.5-200.fc35.x86_64 x86_64
Windowing System: Wayland
Distribution: Fedora Linux 35 (KDE Plasma)
DrKonqi: 5.23.3 [KCrashBackend]

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Normal navigation. The behaviour is rarely triggered by any kind of mouse/keyboard input, but frequently enough to be a disturbance.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
After an update, Plasma began to stutter and freeze occasionally, which leads to a crash at times. This occurs approximately once every 15 minutes in my experience. KWin does not crash, but plasmashell does.

Kernel: 5.15.5-200.fc35.x86_64
Plasma: 5.23.3
KDE Frameworks: 5.88.0
QT: 5.15.2
I am using the Wayland session and the zawertun/kde Copr on Fedora 35 KDE

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

Update: I have narrowed this bug down to Fedora updating its kernel to 5.15, which happened in parallel with the plasma upgrade. Should I leave this bug until the kernel bug is fixed or should I close it?
