Example of numbered tasks for MS Windows

Hi, for Plasma users that minimise their use of the mouse (eg: for faster access via keyboard, or because of mouse issues due to RSI or other accessibility issues), pressing keyboard shortcuts such as Win+5 to switch to the 5th window has been quite critical, but it would be far easier if the Task Manager had a setting to enable a small number on top of (or next to) each task in the taskbar / task tray.

So for example, if a user has 6 different windows opened, they can visually see the numbers for each of those windows (and ideally any quick access shortcuts available in the taskbar), so the user knows that Win+5 is the current shortcut for switching to Firefox and Win+2 is for switching to Dolphin, etc.

Are you just asking about adding the little numbers, right? because the task manager already works that way

Hi Felipe, yes I am just requesting that numbers can be added.

(For example, due to RSI I have been using speech recognition to say "Window Five" to switch applications instead of my keyboard or mouse, but when there's more than a few windows open  I often guess the number incorrectly.)
