Description oiiu19 2021-11-25 11:04:25 UTC
SUMMARY
When switching between tabs, availability of some actions in right-click menu of the folder panel is not refreshed on time.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open two tabs in dolphin, navigate one to a writable location like ~/Desktop, the other to somewhere read-only like /etc.
2. Right click on empty space of /etc. The right-click menu has "New" grayed out.
3. Switch back to ~/Desktop and right click. The right-click menu also has "New" grayed out, although it should be available. Switching to any location from the left column makes "New" available again.

When switching from ~/Desktop tab to /etc tab, the "New" action also stays available.

OBSERVED RESULT
When switching from a read-only tab to a writable tab, "New" in the right-click menu stays grayed out, and vice versa.

EXPECTED RESULT
When switching between tabs, the "New" action becomes gray or not depending on whether it is actually available.
