If my mouse (Saitek Cyborg Rat9) goes to sleep and I turn it back on, the cursor becomes unable to click on/select/interact with any windows, through mousing over or clicking any of the buttons. The cursor still moves. The only thing I have found which fixes it is to press Ctrl+Alt+F2 to switch to a different TTY and back.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Let mouse go to sleep/ step away from computer for a long time
2. Turn mouse back on
3. Try to click on any window

OBSERVED RESULT
Mouse functions after waking up

EXPECTED RESULT
Mouse functions after changing TTYs
