Plasma desktop in default configuration

SUMMARY
There is a visible line of background between the panel and a maximized window when Display scaling is used.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set Global scale to 200%.
2. Set background color to red.
3. Maximize a window.

OBSERVED RESULT
A gap between the panel and the window.

EXPECTED RESULT
No gap.
