SUMMARY Sometimes, after locking screen and leaving Plasma Wayland running overnight, the screen hangs completely after unlocking the session (not even mouse moving). Switching to a different VC only works after Alt+SysRq+r. Checking from a different VC showed Xwayland consuming 100% CPU with a perf recording like this: - 99.95% 0.00% Xwayland Xwayland [.] xwl_present_msc_bump - xwl_present_msc_bump 67.11% present_wnmd_event_notify - 32.82% present_vblank_destroy - 32.81% present_fence_destroy SyncDeleteTriggerFromSyncObject I'm not exactly sure whether this is a Kwin bug or an Xwayland one, so reporting it here. If any additional information is needed, I can try to reproduce it and extract the required information.
