Kate - PartView Toolbar
Yes, the toolbar configuration mechanism is extremely confusing because internally each app actually can have multiple toolbars, and you need to configure each one of them individually, and can't re-arrange them in the configuration dialog; you can only do that outside of it A general-purpose solution could be to make that an implementation detail and show all actions and allow them to be moved anywhere in any place on any toolbar. |
Created attachment 143644 [details] Kate - Main Toolbar SUMMARY I would like to customize the tools on the toolbar, but the default configuration looks like i'll break it if I touch it. The configuration it not clearly reflecting what is shown on the toolbar, the KatePartView buttons seem to be somehow embedded within the main toolbar. Plus, every separator is tripled for an obscure reason. (See screenshots of default configuration) Would it be possible to simplify how the toolbar works on Kate, so it's easier to customize it ?
