SUMMARY

when opening the klipper menu at the mouse pointer (Super+V by default) a click on any of the entries should not just put it in the clipboard but also paste it. its what you usually want to do when you open that list. the default hotkey also indicated pasting as an expected action

This is difficult to do safely and as such out of scope.

would it be possible to do it safely with the middle mouse button? that is rarely pressed accidentally
