Cannot reproduce. You're not using a fractional font size, are you? I don't think so. And I can reproduce with another user account with default font settings. Well that's odd. Created attachment 145432 [details]
Plasma 5.24 beta
it's happening on Plasma 5.24 beta too.
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Graphics Platform: Wayland
I see the same bug every time I switch to the Manage Users page, whether the window is maximized or not. If I open the page with the window already un-maximized, maximizing the window only un-elides “Manage Users” but not the username. Un-maximizing while on the Manage Users page always fixes both pieces of unnecessarily elided text. I was able to reproduce this on a 14” monitor and KDE Neon 5.24 with combinations of: Breeze Light/Dark global themes, 100%/125% scaling, and Lato/Noto Sans at default sizes. *** Bug 450233 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I"m unable to reproduce after update to KDE Qt 5.15.3. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.91.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Graphics Platform: Wayland (In reply to Patrick Silva from comment #8) > I"m unable to reproduce after update to KDE Qt 5.15.3. Cannot reproduce it too on Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20220304 KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.91.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.16.11-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Good, sounds like lit it was some bizarre Qt issue. Thanks for following up! Much appreciated. |
