Not sure if this is fixable in our own instance without code changes. I can confirm that this would require code changes to implement. So in such a case, what should we do? Close the bug report as RESOLVED UPSTREAM, even though we know that upstream is unlikely to be responsive? Or keep it open in the hope that custom code modifications become acceptable or maintainable? I would suggest closing this as RESOLVED/UPSTREAM as we generally prefer to keep software completely unmodified unless it is completely necessary. In this case, having to add attachments one by one while slightly annoying for the parties involved is not a show stopper to the system working properly. Should there be a significant number of files to upload I'd suggest they use an archive instead of uploading the raw files. Do you have the URL for the upstream Bugzilla bug tracker where we can direct users? They use the same Bugzilla instance as other Mozilla products - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ OK, thanks. |
Bugs.kde.org doesn't allow multiple attachments to be added at once when creating a bug. It might be unintuitive for someone that never used Bugzilla, but also tiresome for those who are familiar with it. Currently, is necessary to edit the bug report multiple times; I think this flood the dev's mailboxes with emails like "user add attachment #4 [details] in the bug report #XXXXX" or something.
