In my opinion, this would be over-customizability. We can change position of the sidebars when we have some context, e.g. we currently open the widget explorer on the right side of the screen when customizing right-aligned vertical panels. However, the activity sidebar currently has no setting page, and either: - we would have to create one for just this setting, or - we would have to add this option on the activity page, which currently does not influence the behavior of the switcher sidebar. I personally don't think that the benefit of a right-aligned activity panel justifies either option, and IMO it would be over-customization. However, I do remain open to opinions if I underestimated the need for this feature. |
