Is your system using PulseAudio or PipeWire? Does the headphone jack show up as a separate device in the System Settings Audio Volume page, or does it appear as a separate port of the device for the built-in speakers? If unsure, attach a screenshot of the System Settings Audio Volume page. Created attachment 142980 [details]

Headphone jack and built-in speakers appears as one device
Headphone jack and built-in speakers appears as one device, I did notice if I plug and unplug the headphone jack at least three times, Audio settings lose track of the device status, it is fixed when the windows is reopened.
Thank you. Are you using PulseAudio or PipeWire? From the command line, I can tell I'm using PulseAudio. ps -e | grep pulseaudio 3434 ? 00:00:04 pulseaudio Thanks. This is an audio subsystem bug, so please report it to the PulseAudio folks at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/issues. Alternatively, you could try upgrading to PipeWire, which generally works better and is supported in Plasma. |
