Maik Maik, On the test suite, there are plenty of unit-tests to check all mediawiki feature. If i remember a test run a dumy local server to verify communication. This is just a guess: It might have something to do with old MediaWiki API parameters that were deprecated years ago and finally removed in October 2021. Upload the picture OBSERVED RESULT The upload will start, but crashs with the error: The "token"-prameter must be set. .
