After plasma starts "No events"

SUMMARY
When the digital clock is clicked and the calendar pops up, i can see the blue dots (which should be the same theme accent color ;D) but my events are not shown. It says "No events to display when it should have events to display therefore, I have to select another date for my events to show up; the events should show up everytime.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. kill plasmashell
2. start plasmashell & upon starting click on the digital clock & viola!
"No events to display"

OBSERVED RESULT
I can confirm the bug reproduces that way, upon plasmashell startup.

EXPECTED RESULT
Same
