SUMMARY
YouTube Videos do not play (in youtube running on Firefox)if Kdenlive is running. You can open a video but it will not run unless you close Kdenlive. Ubuntustudio 18.04 Firefox (latest) Kdenlive 21.08.2

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.Have repeated this numerous times- YT vid won't play 
2. Close out of Kdenlive
3. Video plays normally

Thanks a lot for your report! This is probably an issue with you audio setup (jack/alsa) and not related to Kdenlive directly. If so you can probably experience this with other apps like Ardour (??) too. Please close this issue if you can confirm this because then this is nothing the Kdenlive team can fix.

However to debug this problem further it is necessary to know how you installed Kdenlive (Appimage, Ubuntu Packages, Flatpak,…). For future reports please always provide this information together with the OS in the "Platform" field of the report.
