STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open Virtual Desktops KCM
2. add 2 or more virtual desktops
3. check 'Show on screen display when switching'
4. apply the settings
5. switch virtual desktop

OBSERVED RESULT
OSD displays elided virtual desktop name.

EXPECTED RESULT
OSD displays entirely readable virtual desktop name

It's even worse now with plasmashell 5.23.3. For my 4 virtual desktop, most of names (a very short ones) are displayes as dots. Except one letter ;-)

it's not consistently reproducible on Plasma 5.24 beta.
I need to switch from a VD with longer name like 'Área de trabalho' to another with shorter name like 'Desktop 2'.
