SUMMARY
The position trace at the Joystick KCM doesn't know the concept of diagonal movements. When two joystick axis events arrive at the same time (js_event->time) those events should be joined into a single [X,Y] coordinate and not incorrectly handled as two separate axis-aligned events as the KCM currently does.

This bug manifests itself as an ugly staircase-like pattern on the tracing widget.

Thank you for the bug report, and I'm sorry we weren't able to look into it yet. A lot has changed since it was reported; can I ask you to see if this is still an issue with Plasma 6.4 or later? Thanks a lot!
