Do I understand correctly that the point is being able to save face thumbnails? Maik (In reply to Maik Qualmann from comment #1) > Do I understand correctly that the point is being able to save face > thumbnails? > > Maik Somehow yes. I would like to save a low resolution version of the full picture including readable frames around faces with its names. Frank Hmm, what does "readable frames" mean, the face regions are contained in the images if you have activated writing. If it should become clickable, this is done via HTML and then this bug would be a duplcat of Bug 442825. Maik Created attachment 142323 [details]

There are frames around the faces recognized. The frames are named as face recognized. I want to enable everybody in my band to see who is recognized on the picture without using digiKam experts tools (some of the members are older aged and I need to simplify that). So the expected dataset would be - Source picture with modified metadata written and readable by digiKam-->Source file multiple MB - Small picture (I do not mind if color or b/w) with frames around faces with its related names to it. So everybody can read without experts SW who is on the picture. The picture shall be saved to the directory of source picture--> File is a few 100Kb only Hope I explained myself better. What are next steps to that ticket? Well, now a developer should have the time and inclination to integrate this feature. We have hundreds of wishes to integrate a certain feature. Depending on how often a feature is requested by users, it is faster implemented, some desired features may never find their way into digiKam. Wouldn't your problem be solved if you took a screenshot of the digiKam preview with the facial regions and names? The countermeasure to my issue does not necessarily work as I have very any photos I would like to use the face recognition. It would be very time consuming doing screenshots. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 442825 *** |
