When I shorten inserted image it compared to the default length of the inserted clip, everything is OK. When I extend this image clip, after closing Kdenlive and reopening kdenlive file, the length of image clip is shorter than I set. It is in default length. Reinstalling Kdenlive did not resolve the issue, and after reinstall some image clips scroll along the timeline. Kdenlive 21.08.3, MLT 7.1.0, Linux Mint 19.2, Xfce Unable to reproduce on 21.08.3 or 22.03.70 Nightly, is "still image clip" just an image? If I drag an image into my Project Bin and then on the timeline, I'm able to drag and lengthen or shorten it without problems, also opening and closing the project doesn't break anything. What does "Choose a duration in the Kdenlive setup dialog" mean? Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 21.08.3a to see if there are any packaging issues: https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/21.08/linux/ or with the Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage_Build/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/ I've been trying kdenlive-21.08.2-x86_64.appimage for a few days now and everything seems to be OK. Saved changes are reloaded OK when the application starts again. I will try the version 21.08.3a listed in the link.
