SUMMARY
If I try to quit JuK before it has finished loading all the local media, it will take a very long time (minutes) to quit, meanwhile not allowing to do anything with it and blocking newer JuK instances from working correctly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have a lot of local media under ~/Music.
2. Launch JuK.
3. While the local media is grayed out and before if finishes whatever it does with it that grays them out, try to close it from the system tray icon (right click -> quit).

OBSERVED RESULT
Hangs for a long while.

EXPECTED RESULT
Should quit.

Latest version doesn't have a start up phase with greyed out items anymore, unless setting a non-default value for some locale in the settings.
