This was fixed in Plasma 5.22 and the update fetching speed is substantially faster in Plasma 5.23. Does it happen only with the flatpak backend? Test the following: 1. plasma-discover --backends packagekit-backend 2. plasma-discover --backends flatpak-backend If it's only slow with the Flatpak backend, then this is probably Bug 443555. Haven't tried that yet, but that bug says five minutes, while in my cases it can be many hours. |
