It seems that I solved this problem by installing KStars 3.5.5 on a clean disk. Then I added/replaced the files of the new kstars folder by the files of the old one. I found that the following old folders caused problems : autofocus, defect maps, descriptions, ekos, gsc I didn't add/replace them. KStars 3.5.5 now works fine without crashing I forgot to mention that the folder "nds" caused also a crash Sorry, I was wrong and KStars 3.5.5 keeps crashing on the opening KStars 355 crashes with the Simulator profile. After the crash, it is necessary to Force Quit the INDI Server which is still running. In macOS, I can do this with the app Activity Monitor Otherwise the crash still occurs with "real" profiles too This was fixed I think when we figured out what combination of settings caused it. |
