video showing "sticky" compass infobox as the user rotates New York City

SUMMARY

I'm trying to use the compass info box to display the cardinal directions.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. ensure the compass info box is visible (View » Info Boxes » Compass)
2. right-click and drag to rotate the map
3. watch the compass to see whether its orientation updates as the map is rotated

OBSERVED RESULT

The compass rose always stays aligned with the window border, though the letter at the top changes from N to S and back again as the orientation goes through the full rotation

EXPECTED RESULT

the compass rose should always keep the N arrow pointing toward true north.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:

Marble Virtual Globe
Version 2.2.20 (2.3 development version)

(debian marble package 4:20.12.3-1)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I'm attaching a video captured with recordmydesktop that demonstrates the "sticky" compass.
