Created attachment 141667 [details] Screen photo SUMMARY When you try to take a screenshot of a rectangular area in KDE Plasma, Active screen edges prevent you from doing this. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Spectacle 2. Choose "Rectangular Region" in the "Area" combo-box and click "Take a New Screenshot" 3. Try to take a rectangular region from top-left edge OBSERVED RESULT "Present Windows" is activated, apps window overlaps Spectacle hint, and you can't take a rectangular region.
