Currently the minimize effect takes the windows to the top right of the screen when the user clicks the "Show Desktop" button located at the bottom right of the screen in the taskbar.

I think it makes more sense to give a good sense of placement to minimize windows "into" the Show Desktop button and not any other arbitrary location on the screen.

I think this will help the user understand where the windows went and where they can get back into the desktop from.

KDE has two alternatives for the "Show Desktop" button. Right-Click > Show Alternatives to choose between them.

1. Minimise all Windows: Minimises the windows to their icons on the task manager.

2. Show Desktop: Moves all windows aside towards the corner of the screen that's nearest the window. This alternative also has a right-click minimise all windows command

I think between the two the user can get whichever animation he/she prefers.
