Sentry Crash Report:

Description S. Umar 2021-09-08 21:22:11 UTC
After suspending with ctrl-S, which works, ctrl-Q does nothing and one cannot restore a working terminal.

Works here - what does the output of stty -a show for start and stop?
Comment 2 S. Umar 2021-09-08 21:38:48 UTC
It shows correct ^S and ^Q. ^S works and gives the message to use ctrl-Q to go back but doing so has no effect. This is on a Lenovo laptop

Can you double-check in another terminal like xterm? Have you changed anything in profile->keyboard->keybindings?
Comment 4 S. Umar 2021-09-08 21:47:01 UTC
No change in profile and ctrl-S/ctrl-Q works in xterm
Comment 5 S. Umar 2021-09-08 22:45:44 UTC
Found a suggestion via google search: ctrl-alt-Q works! Not sure what is going on as ctrl-Q works on xterm.
Comment 6 S. Umar 2021-09-09 13:47:15 UTC
Ctrl-Q works fine on my desktop machines too, so the only problem is with my laptop for some reason.
Comment 7 Kurt Hindenburg 2024-03-23 04:08:59 UTC
let us know if this is still an issue
Comment 8 S. Umar 2024-03-23 12:37:57 UTC
No, it is resolved. Thanks!
