I have a MR for some runtime issues, but when merged we will be caught up to latest 23.08.3. https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kwave/-/merge_requests/13 (In reply to Scarlett Moore from comment #1) It's on 23.08.5 on --channel=latest/candidate. Is that still outdated? According to https://bugs.kde.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#version, it appears to be. Created attachment 170331 [details]

I never did get this one working. kwave(24743)/(default) \[31munknown\[0m: "Stream error: Access denied" despite alsa plug being enabled. Unfortunately, maintaining 200 snaps in my freetime is a very laborious endeavor and I simply don't have any freetime right now. Qt6 is still a WIP and recent versions are qt6. Hopefully I will be able to sort this out soon... Patches/Help welcome. (In reply to Scarlett Moore from comment #4) No worries. I genuinely can't fathom how much work voluntarily maintaining 200 packages is, especially when they're sandboxed versions of applications not necessarily designed to operate within a sandbox. In case it wasn't evident, I was only updating this issue to better demonstrate the problem, rather than try to progress it. kwave snap now works. You must sudo snap connect kwave:audio-record :audio-record until I can get auto-connect approved. |
