SUMMARY

DigiKam Version 7.3.0

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Digikam mit "Ubuntu Software 3.38.1" installiert
2. Terminal: sudo apt-get install language-pack-kde-de 
2. DigiKam/Settings/language Selektion
3. Im Dropdown Menu ist nur eine Sprache "Englich (US)" verfügbar

OBSERVED RESULT
language Selection English only

EXPECTED RESULT
Language Selection English or German

This is an Ubuntu package problem, not a digiKam problem. Probably the KDE translation package does not contain any digiKam translations. If no other package for digiKam exists, report this to Ubuntu. Alternatively, you can use our AppImage that contains all translations. If the Ubuntu digiKam package is a snap package, the functionality is also restricted.
