SUMMARY
Redshift control is not working anymore (plasma 5.21.5, frameworks 5.85.0) - that is, having it in the system tray does not activate redshift and changing the configuration does not have any effect:

Was previously working with plasma 5.20.5 and frameworks 5.78.0.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install redshift and redshift control.
2. Try to control color tone or brightness from the system tray icon.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
Should change color tone and brightness.

Funny thing: this applet will actually work correctly (redshift is activated and changing the configuration from this applet is effective) if I leave it running alongside the gnome redshift control applet.
