STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. When clicking on the install on linux icon on the KDE apps website, and opening the link in Discover, I get "Could not open appstream://org.kde.ruqola.desktop.

I thought this was an official KDE site. Are there packages for Kubuntu, or would I need to compile? (And sorry for misusing the bugtracker for such a question)

"This button only works with Discover and other AppStream application stores. You can also use your distribution’s package manager."
so you need to have discover apps installed.

Really no idea as developer I build it by hand
but for sure there is a package on your distro but you need to ask on kubuntu ML or other.

Thank you, I will probably compile.

However, as I wrote in the bug description, I did open the link in "Discover". This probably just searches in the Kubuntu repos and they have not packaged it yet.
