Dear user, KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6. Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component. We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes. For security issues, please see: https://kde.org/info/security/ Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML. Greetings Christoph Cullmann |
I changed engine, changed colors in Appearance settings, but nothing happens. I saw change after adding my custom CSS sheet, but it’s far from working. * { background: black; color: #c8c8c8; } I always use website colors override on Firefox, because I can’t stand white backgrounds etc. That’s the reason I use Firefox most of the time. Konqueror has good concept and integration with KDE, but without this function it’s useless as browser for me. It feels lie KHTML engine is worse than default. On some websites there are lags and glitches in search fields, when it is enabled.
