SUMMARY

Kmail cannot send email after turning on the VPN (openvpn) -> "Failed to transport message. Connection to server lost".
(Company smtp -> STARTTLS / 587)

Thunderbird works just fine. Trojita (which uses akonadi backend as well) seems to be affected in the same way.


OBSERVED RESULT

Mail not send -> notification "Failed to transport message. Connection to server lost"


EXPECTED RESULT

Mail to be sent.
