Description Javier O. Cordero Pérez (Cuperino) 2021-08-22 03:45:17 UTC
SUMMARY
Yakuake crashes when closing a tab that has a process running. The process could be either in foreground or in background, it makes no difference. Most common cause for crash is closing a tab with a second shell running over the default shell.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Yakuake
2. Run an interactive program or a program that takes a while to run
3. Close tab while program is running

OBSERVED RESULT
Yakuake crashes

EXPECTED RESULT
Tab is closed and all other tabs continue to work. If no other tabs are present, tab remains closed until Yakuake's interface is invoked again.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon Testing Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3

Bug was not a bug in Yakuake but, apparently, a bug of Konsole's KPart and it is now gone as of KDE Plasma Version 5.22.4, and KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0.
