Did you try to build from source? If so, please use the DMG. All the INDI drivers are embedded in the KStars app in the DMG along with instructions. There is no need to install them in Homebrew. Hi Rob
I did install from the DMG. Did not find any drivers…
Nor did the application
I tried home-brew because nothing else worked.
Just in case I did look at the wrong place, where are they supposed to be?
Many thanks, Erwin

Ok then maybe something prevented the settings from getting set right when it started up. Please go to Preferences, INDI, and check the boxes for it to use the internal INDI drivers and INDI server. You can also go to XPlanet and check the box for it to use the internal Xplanet. You also can still run the startup wizard. Please see the attached screenshots. Created attachment 140889 [details]

Hi Rob
This worked. After a crash and a restart, I can now control the mount perfectly. Thanks a lot!
A drawback of the Mac are the few USB plugs. My experience with an USB Hub is not very convincing: PHD2 does not receive enough Signal for guiding from the guiding camera.
With the Windows box with direct connection this works without problems…
Probably I try running it on a Ubuntu box with traditional hardware …
Thanks a lot, Erwin
