(english is not my native lang)
Wayland session of Plasma becomes almost unusable due to fps drop while system tray is opened. Due to the bug pointer becomes quite irresponsible and hard to use, so the bug is major.
The bug is explicitly Wayland-specific, as the X11 session with other options the same, does not produce any fps drops

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Plasma wayland session with proprietary Nvidia driver from Manjaro driver helper
2. System tray - Show hidden icons

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro Linux
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

Politics aside most people still have Nvidia GPUs and GNOME Wayland on Nvidia runs like a breeze (ha-ha-ha).

I honestly thought that Wayland would be the catalyst for Plasma to catch up to GNOME in terms of Nvidia support.
Plasma Nvidia Wayland sessions are horribly unstable (broken UI, lags, consistent crashes after updating any setting whether Window Rules, Scripts or Decorations, Monitor Scaling, Positioning you name it) while GNOME Nvidia Wayland literally just works (haven't had a single crash since 470 driver came out even doing "funny/weird" stuff).
