Sentry Crash Report:

Description Stuart Axon 2021-08-18 22:47:16 UTC
It would be good if Okular had an autosave option.

I was adding a lot of highlights to a 79 page document and crashed it 3 times.
One of the times I corrupted the file I was saving (using the archive feature).

(I may have hit save while it was already saving / restoring?)

Please report those crashes so we can fix them.

Cheers, I'll try and find a way to report them, though not sure I want to submit the exact document (it's a survey of a house).

It was pretty fiddly but all I was doing was highlighting items and hitting ctrl-s (sometimes the ctrl-s in quick succession).

I realise this isn't that helpful, as the document structure must be important.

Part of the reason I thought autosave is useful, is that PDF is a complex legacy format and all sorts of interactions must be possible.

I'll try and get more info, but about to be very time starved so it may take a while.

Hello, there was an error while saving. Specifically, I saved the file initially, and when I finished my work and wanted to save it to avoid losing my progress, it gave me the following message: "You cannot save or create a new file because the auto-save process is still not finished." Please do something about this. I really don't want to lose the hours I spent on my drawing.
