SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create new project
2. add title clip with some colored text (say blue)
3. add fade in and fade out effect to title
4. play

OBSERVED RESULT

When fading in or out, the color of the text is changed whereas it should slowly appear or disappear but using the original color of the text (blue), that is, the one that is displayed while not fading in or out i.e in the middle of the clip. The color used while fading in or out depends of the chosen text color. If you use blue text, the unexpected color of the text while fading in or out is green. Using the custom "fading from/to black" option of the fade in/out effect has no effect and the behaviour is the same.

EXPECTED RESULT

Text should be fading in/out using the text color only.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux Mint, Ubuntu based

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Was perfectly working with 21.04.2 on the same laptop

Thank you for reporting. The AppImage 20.08.0a solve this problem. Nightly build after 25-Aug-2021 shouldn't have this issue.
